Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actor best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with Polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl says that at one instance her mother stabbed her father due to him becoming too close to her. Sheryl enlisted in the military following her graduation from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career when she was frequently performing on the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. The show was on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Presently, she is a co-host on the Talk talk show since 2011. In addition, she has a fictional role on series such Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
